Report: Mets gaining in Santana race

The article I just read is about the most elite pitcher in Major League Baaseball right now Johan Santana. the article is about how the New York Mets are in the frontline of getting him but they have to give up a lot of thier top prospects they have. which is something no one really wants to do. it looks like the deal will be settled by no later then next week. The New York Yankess and the Boston Red Sox are still in the mix but they do not want to give up a lot for only one player that might not even end up signing by next year when his contact is up.
